Did you know the Standard Horizon CRF-362 can crease, perf, and fold digital output in one pass?

At Graphic Technology Group, we've installed and supported the Standard Horizon CRF-362 for many years.

In this article, we'll take a look at five reasons why you should buy this creaser/folder for your business.

1) Crease, Perf, and Fold In One Pass

The Standard Horizon CRF-362 is able to improve the efficiency and quality of your finishing process.

Creasing and folding can be done in one pass for easy and accurate processing of a variety of applications.

  • Restaurant Menus
  • Greeting Cards
  • Book Covers
  • Marketing Materials
  • Laminated Sheets

The impact creaser on the CRF-362 is able to eliminate cracking on digitally-printed output.

Plus, the CRF-362 can easily handle perforations with the optional PRF-36 Perforation Unit.

2) Easy Setup and Changeover

Setup and changeovers between jobs are a breeze with the Standard Horizon CRF-362.

The simple and intuitive operating system helps you fine-tune fold pattern, crease numbers, and more.

These quick and easy adjustments can be made through the high-resolution color touchscreen.

3) High Quality Creasing

This creaser folder from Standard Horizon can perform up to 10 creasing lines per finishing job.

Creasing depth can be adjusted. Also, the up and down creases are performed in one pass.

All of your creasing positions can be perfectly calibrated in 0.1mm / 0.004" increments.

4) Wide Variety of Folds

The large-diameter fold rollers on the CRF-362 are equipped for heavier stocks.

It's able to perform a wide variety of folding patterns including:

  • Parallel
  • Short
  • Letter
  • Double Parallel
  • Accordion
  • Open Gate

Each of these folding patterns can be set up by using the simple icon-based touch screen.

5) Broad Paper Range

The Standard Horizon CRF-362 can handle paper weights up to 400 gsm for creasing without folding.

If you would like to add folding, it can handle 350 gsm and up to 14.33” x 34” sheet sizes.

This broad range of coated and uncoated stocks can be creased and folded in one pass.
